Directors

Catalyse Change CIC has three directors, we are:

Traci Lewis

PROGRAMME DIRECTOR
Traci is our co-founder and programme director. For over twenty-five years, she has delivered sustainability change programmes, working with a diverse range of people, from organic farmers to community businesses. In addition to running Catalyse Change CIC, she has her own coaching and consulting business, Sustain-Live Consulting Ltd, helping other women and purpose-led businesses to thrive and make an impact. She lives on a houseboat near Bristol and enjoys good food, festivals, and adventures.

Helen Taylor

Partnerships
Helen is a Food Technologist turned environmentalist. She worked with several top food brands before joining the Soil Association in 1999, to lead their organic certification and Business Development teams. She later ran the organisation’s events and took over the charity’s fundraising. In 2010 Helen became Ambassador for Ecotricity and was CEO of its football club, Forest Green Rovers, when first promoted into the league. In 2018 she founded One Blue Marble to help environmentally-focussed organisations fulfil their full potential.

Julie Ellison

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE (NON-EXEC)
Julie is a passionate advocate of social enterprise, starting her first social venture in the 1980s! After completing an MBA she specialised in social enterprise business support and was MD of Social Enterprise Works CIC. Julie now delivers enterprise education to students in Higher Education and contributes to the development of an ecosystem of support for social entrepreneurship. She now also runs her own social enterprise Make It Studios – a shared enterprise and workhub – in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Jess Saunders, co-founder, Vegan Punks

Jess Saunders is the Co-Founder of Vegan Punks – an Instagram recipe account and website with over 130,000 followers. Her account reaches over 3 million people per month which she built with a dedicated Instagram strategy. Having led the social media team at the world’s first green energy company, she went on to run her own social media agency and is now teaching vegan businesses and creators how to develop their following with an Instagram strategy. Jess has worked in digital marketing for the last 10 years and is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.


Kate BruintjesKate Martin Bruintjes, Green Unlimited, Director

Over the last 19 years, Kate has worked with major UK and international companies as a sustainability consultant, as an in-house sustainability reporting specialist and for an international sustainability charity. Kate started her own independent sustainability consultancy, Green Unlimited, to help organisations to develop and implement sustainable business strategies that build long-term value and to communicate with stakeholders effectively. Jessica Ferrow, Sustainability Strategy & Communications 

Jessica has more than a decade of experience working with purpose-driven businesses. After starting her career in the solar industry, Jessica now works with some of the world’s best-loved consumer brands including Pukka Herbs, Ella’s Kitchen, Edgard & Cooper and Finisterre to help them respond meaningfully to the climate and ecological emergency. Jessica is also the elected director of the Bristol Green Capital Partnership and a member of Bristol’s Environmental Sustainability Board, helping the city achieve its ambitious zero carbon 2030 targets.


Sussy WanjalaSussy Wanjala, Sustainability Consultant 

Sussy is a passionate sustainability expert with a solid track record. She started her career at Sustainable Inclusive Business Kenya (SIB), a private sector knowledge centre based in Nairobi Kenya. At SIB, she co-developed several programs to tackle sustainability issues in Kenya like the circular economy for plastics, biodiversity, sustainable agribusiness and sustainability standards. Sussy has an MSc. Sustainable Development in Practice from the University of the West of England (UWE). She has worked at the Soil Association, where she researched and started business development in REDD+ projects in Africa. Her goal is to keep developing herself as a sustainability consultant, inspiring businesses and individuals to have a positive social and environmental impact.


Megan StillwellMegan Stillwell, Force for Nature, Marketing and Communications Manager 

Megan is a climate activist, nature lover and the Marketing and Communications Manager at Force for Nature, a youth non-profit mobilising mindsets for climate action. She is passionate about using communication as a positive force and is dedicated to making the world a greener and fairer place for all. Having attended the Catalyst Summit at the start of her green career, Megan has first-hand felt the organisation’s impact. She joined our Advisory Board to reciprocate the generosity and opportunities she gained through our programmes.


Vibs BhatiaVibhati Bhatia, Managing Consultant 

Vibhati is a Managing Consultant in Sustainability and Founder of South Asians for Sustainability. Coming from a British-Indian Punjabi heritage, she has always felt passionately about diversity, inclusion and equal representation; but particularly highlighting environmental and social injustices caused by systemic and geo-social-political issues. She is driven to help make the sustainability and environmental industry inclusive, for the greatest impact and immediate action. Vibhati’s Story


Tribeni ChouguleTribeni Chougule, Visa Europe, Transformation Leader

Tribeni is a Transformation leader with a focus on Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility working in the Inclusive Impact and Sustainability team in Visa Europe. She has deep change management, project and program management expertise garnered over 22 years across diverse sectors and geographies. Her passion for Diversity & Inclusion, Gender Equality and Social Impact has led her to launch and manage employee networks for women in technology and business and run a bursary for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing STEM degrees at the undergraduate level. Tribeni has an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School and an Electronics and Power Engineering degree.


Emily GoetshEmily Goetsch, Acre, Head of Research

Emily is the Head of Research – UK at Acre, the leading sustainability recruitment firm. She started her career in academia at the University of Edinburgh, gaining significant research experience. Wanting a change of pace, Emily took up a research opportunity with an executive search firm, joining Acre a couple of years later. At Acre, she has been able to combine her background in research with her passion for sustainability, helping a range of organisations to understand the trends, issues and candidate market while on their sustainability journeys.


Darcy RoehlingDarcy Roehling, Kite Insights, Head of Client Engagement

Darcy has over 25 years of international experience in Asia, Europe, and the USA, working at the confluence of talent development, business and sustainability strategies – driving mindset and behavioural change. She is currently the Head of Client Engagement at Kite Insights, a global sustainability consultancy. Prior to working at Kite, she was Head of HP’s channel partners programme for Asia Pacific where she developed sustainability plans and strategies.


Siobhan MorrinSiobhan Morrin, LinkedIn News, Manager Editor

Siobhan is a writer and editor with over a decade of experience in journalism and communications. In her own career she seeks to communicate clearly about the issues that matter to people and has sought to do this through work at publications including Newsweek, Time and Stylist, as well as LinkedIn News. Siobhan is passionate about sustainability and social mobility and is keen to support young people seeking the green skills that will be essential to many jobs of the future.

Mya-Rose Craig, activist, author, and student

Mya-Rose, aka Birdgirl, is one of the UK’s wildlife and environmental heroes. She’s been birding all her life and vocally supporting conservation projects and those trying to stop climate breakdown. She has used her blog Birdgirl and social media, to talk about the lack of ethnic diversity in the environmental sector, an issue she has spearheaded through a conference Race Equality in Nature and by engaging inner-city Visible Minority Ethnic children and teenagers with nature at her camps. She has been nominated as one of Bristol’s most influential young people as well as being on its 100 Black Minority Ethnic power list.

Catalyse Change CIC is a social enterprise working to inspire and empower young women for happy, healthy & green careers, communities, and the planet. The directors, Board, and mentors are all women working in sustainability, with a combined wide skill set and expertise, supported by an extensive network of other sustainability professionals who provide expertise and mentoring.
