Our green internship and work placement programme can support you on a full sustainability learning journey to bridge the gap between education and employment.
Who is the programme for?
Young women* & non-binary people, 18-26 years old, pursuing a career in sustainability. You could be leaving school and want to get straight into work, or you have finished a further education course or degree and would like to get some valuable experience to enhance your CV.
Why should I take part?
You are looking to transition into the world of work and gain valuable work experience skills to aid you in your sustainability career path.
What’s it all about?
We will match you with a company focused in the sustainability space, for short to longer-term placements. During your placement, you will gain an understanding of the world of work and clarity on what type of career you might want in the future. You will also gain valuable skills to boost your employability through our Green Career masterclass programme.

Previous placements
We have partnered with ERM, Vattenfall and Burges-Salmon again this year to place several young women in three – four week green internship or work placements. These enable you to gain valuable insights and skills into sustainability and green careers, setting you on a clear pathway to becoming sustainability changemakers.

Our Green Careers Programme is an inspiring, interactive course that explores green skills, careers and how to find one best suited to you. The programme gives you the opportunity to attend meet-ups, 1-1 coaching sessions, and masterclasses with sustainability professionals to learn about the different career options available to you.
