Are you a woman working for social or environmental change who would like to help inspire the next generation of change makers? The Catalyse Change 2020.21 Mentoring programme is now open if you would like to mentor a young woman?
The world is facing serious environmental and social problems, and now more than ever we are on the cusp of great change. Fridays for the Future have seen more than 13 million people taking to the streets across the globe demanding action against Climate Change.
Yet, while we know gender equality is key to creating an inclusive and sustainable world, in the first few months of 2020 we’ve already seen stark inequalities all around us.
As a professional working in sustainability, Catalyse Change’s volunteer mentor programme offers you the chance to inspire and skill young women to be the next generation of change-agents.
How does it work?
In addition to the Catalyst Bootcamp and workshops, girls and young women are partnered with a mentor and network of professional female role models to help improve their skills & capacity to make positive contributions in this rapidly changing world. You will play a key role in inspiring and informing a young woman who is looking to pursue a green education and career, but not currently sure how to achieve it.
‘If you think this sounds interesting, don’t overthink it, just sign up. It’s not a massive time commitment and it’s a brilliant way to give something back. During the process, I’ve become more involved in a network of diverse and inspiring women. I’ve learnt new skills and reflected on my own career path and choices.’ Lucy, Catalyse Change Mentor
