Fancy a sustainability summer camp?
It’s a stressful time for anyone who cares about the future of our people and planet.
The world’s leading climate scientists have warned there are only a dozen years for global warming to be kept to a maximum of 1.5C, beyond which even half a degree will significantly worsen the risks of drought, floods, extreme heat and poverty for hundreds of millions of people.
It can be hard as an individual to know how to make a difference and where to start.
If you want to meet some like-minded people and learn how to be part of the solution then do consider attending the Catalyst Bootcamp this summer.
It has been set up to empower & skill girls and young women (14-24yrs) who want to pursue futures as sustainability leaders and change makers. It is an inspiring residential sustainability summer camp from 24-26th July at Bristol University – run by Catalyse Change CIC a Bristol-based social enterprise – to provide you with the inspiration, confidence and skills to ‘be the change you wish to see in the world.’
Women who already work in sustainability support you to create social or environmental action projects on the issues you care most passionately about. Along with a diverse range of inspiring Mentors and Speakers who provide Green Education & Career guidance. There are also lots of practical sessions to help you build your own personal resilience & confidence.
Following the event you will then receive ongoing mentoring support, from a professional woman already working in sustainability, to help you set and achieve goals for your education and future career.

Feedback from previous students:
“Since the Bootcamp I have become more organised and calm about my future. Also I know how to deal with stress and anxiety due to the motivational sessions and I’m not afraid to speak up.” Dominika,
“It’s an exciting industry to work because it is growing so rapidly, and there is so much innovation involved. All the speakers that I talked to were very passionate about their own subject and enjoyed discussing it with us, giving the impression that you can combine your work with what you are passionate about.” Emilie
“During the 3 days I met the most inspiring females in my life. I didn’t expect to meet such active members in the sustainability industry. Meeting people who work for the UN from females who created their own startups in the local Bristol area showed me the variety of work I could get involved in as a passionate female myself.” Urvi
