The Catalyst Bootcamp is a 3-day residential educational programme in Bristol – 22-24th August 2017 – for young women aged 14-19 years who are interested in a career in sustainability but aren’t quite sure how to go about it.

Throughout July there is an opportunity for young women to WIN A FREE PLACE by stating in no more than 100 words – or with a 1-min video or image – explain; ‘Why I Want to Be a Catalyst for Change’. Send your entry to info@catalysechange.com

The 3-day residential course will be held in the beautiful Clifton Hill House at Bristol University campus. Key outcomes for young women attending will be:
Informed to make a career choice in sustainability or green sectors.
Build personal strengths, values and interests. Grow new approaches to problem solving, blind spots and communication. Increased confidence and personal resilience skills.

The event will connect the young women with inspiring mentors, women already working in a diverse range of sustainability sectors and roles. They will run practical sustainability projects to develop the girls’ skills and knowledge and will also learn the softer skills essential for employability, including; teamwork, problem solving and clearer communication. Catalyse Change CIC is headed up by four women directors with extensive experience in running environmental change programmes and will be joined by professional women working in sustainability across a diverse range of professions and roles from; food, fashion, banking, engineering and campaigning.

There are also a limited number of bursaries available – kindly sponsored by Pukka Herbs & Bristol University – to provide free places for young women from disadvantaged and low-income backgrounds. With Early Bird Ticket Rates and Special Offers on Pairs of Tickets – also available.
