Sustainability Summer Camp for Teenage Girls
An inspiring, empowering & skilling programme for young women – 13 -19 years – who want to create a more sustainable future. This 3-day residential on 22-24th August at Bristol University campus will provide you with the inspiration, confidence and skills to be the ‘change you wish to see in the world.’ The Boot Camp Mentors will be running practical projects around six core sustainability themes & a range of Speakers will provide Green Education & Career guidance & inspiration, there will also be a focus on building your own personal resilience & confidence.
Who is it for? For young women who want to make a positive difference in the world and are interested in a career in sustainability but aren’t sure how to go about it.
What’s it all about?
The world is facing serious environmental and social problems – we help young women to be skilled & resilient for a rapidly changing world.
Teenage girls face a multitude of challenges – we provide practical tools to help increase self-confidence & to effectively deal with anxiety and stress.
For a fast changing job market, we also teach the ‘softer’ skills for employability, inc; team working, problem solving & clearer communication.
Key outcomes will be:
- Informed to make a career choice in sustainability or green sectors.
- Build personal strengths, values and interests.
- Grow new approaches to problem solving, dealing with conflict and communication.
- Confidence and personal resilience skills.

The Catalyst Bootcamp programme on 22nd – 24th August 2017 is now open for bookings! Taking place at the beautiful Clifton Hill House on Bristol University campus.
Tickets cost £295 each, all inclusive residential; all meals, workshops, training materials, evening activities. Pair – bring a Friend! + £99
Bursaries – kindly sponsored by Bristol University, Pukka Teas, Skanska & Triodos Bank – are available on request. This will help to ensure that young women who want to attend the Catalyst Bootcamp won’t be excluded if they can’t afford it. So please select this option on the application form if it applies to you.

Catalyse Change CIC is a Bristol-based social enterprise working to inspire and empower young women for happy, healthy & green careers, communities and planet. The four directors; Jenna Holliday, Julie Ellison, Rhian Sherrington, Traci Lewis are all women working in sustainability, with combined wide skill-set and expertise, supported by a extensive network of other sustainability professionals who will be providing expertise and mentoring at the Catalyst Bootcamp.
